Identification in Hand Sample
- Zoarium Morphology: Thin, sharp-edged, falciform frond; length seldom over 50mm, 1 mm thick
- Zoecia: Polygonal, almost diamond shape; Form diagonal rows at ~60 deg angle with each other, ~30 deg with edge of frond
- Mesozooids: Few
- Monticules: none/inconspicuous
